Associate Professor, Psychology

Robin Wellington, Ph.D.

Professor Wellington received her master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. She was part of an Interdisciplinary program through a collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University. The study titled, “The Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition,” provided a variety of imaging methods. She also did a Post Doc in Neurology and Surgery at the University of Chicago.

Her previous research in functional neuroimaging included the study of individuals with toxic encephalopathy via occupational exposure to toxins. She also did research exploring traumatic brain injury in college athletes, particularly examining factors that may impact recovery. Professor Wellington teaches PSY 648 Physiological Psychology, a foundational course in the Clinical Psychology PhD program as well as the Neuroscience Master’s program. She is available to mentor Neuroscience Master’s students.
